- july 12, 2007 stuck in nagoya, japan with the girls








- july 13, 2007 left nagoya and arrived manila at 11 am. spent $40 bucks to get someone help me wheel out our luggage. sharks!!! aaarrrgghh.

sundo were out of sight. made a follow up call to my bro beto to check his whereabouts. my mom and him arrived in a few minutes. my girls started to get very ansy and uncomfortable.



weather was hot, humid and sticky. the air was smoggy. the usual traffic, blaring horns, panhandlers on the street, enormous billboards, dilapidated buildings. downtown shocked me! never been in manila in 13 long years.








during the course of my vacation, i found out that nature remain to exist in the outskirts of manila; provinces (laguna, zambales, subic). love the smell, the colour, the peacefulness






went to the duty free shop to do some last minute pasalubong shopping before finally going home. too many sales reps wooing me to buy their products. not impressed at some point. i find the duty free mall very loud with music and chatty reps. salve me! i couldn't focus on what i needed to buy.

took us hours to get home even if we use shortcuts. noticed the many public transports available on the road: taxis, tricycles, motorcycles, buses, fxs - yet still i believe these weren't enough to take the people here and there.

we're home around 5 pm i believe and met my family. beso beso, hi, hello and what not!

called up jerry to say hello and to check up with him about transpo for the next day to the reunion with my girls courtesy of his brother jeffrey (batch 8T2). met up with him the same night ( past 7:00 pm) to work on with the giveaways (lighting pens) i brought for the reunion. was really awesome seeing jerry again after 26 long years. lots of chats ensued. we were done and i was back home at 10 pm.
